"As Steady As Freddy" is a tribute to Texas Blues and guitar god Freddy King. There was and still is no substitute only reverence for the man from Gilmer, Texas -- The Texas Cannonball

1968: The Orchestra De La Vega is in New York City. Some friends take young Don Jorge and Don David to see Freddy King at Tramps and their whole world is turned upside down. From that day on both dedicate their life to playing the Blues and adopt a Texas shuffle style after the Blues Master who created epic instrumentals -- "Hideaway," "The Stumble," "Onion Rings," "Low Tide," "Wash Out" and many others.
